It all starts on the hillside. We buy direct from nine farms in Antioquia and Huila, with no middlemen between the people who grow the coffee and the people who roast it.
Every farm is its own origin, and every origin is kept apart. Our coffees are single origin: what lands in your bag comes from one spot on the mountain.
The beans go into the drum green and come out the color of earth. We roast them right here, at our roastery in Laureles, Medellín.
We taste with a spoon, the way the trade does it. And we don't keep it to ourselves: we teach cupping classes at the roastery in Laureles.
